Peter Wilson returns for his regular catch-up with Roy. They cover how councils in England are getting more aggressive over unpaid council tax, with bankruptcy filings and charges on homes, and how a small bill can grow into a huge one once trustees and legal fees get involved. Peter explains how he runs plug-in solar panels, batteries and a backup setup at home, what it costs, and why he sees creating your own energy as part of being sovereign. They also look at offshore wind, solar roof contracts to watch out for, and writing to the council as a living soul. Peter then walks through the AI app he built for his Checkmate the Matrix community, which guides people through Consumer Credit Act requests, GDPR and court defence without giving legal advice. The conversation moves on to his allotment and chickens, growing your own food, a recent bank outage and why cash matters, payment fees, and why Peter rates Skool as a platform for building a sovereign income.
